What I Do
I weave poetic words and illustrations that centre on love, self-compassion and small joys.
You may have first come across my work through the relatable illustrations on motherhood, as these were shared widely across social media. They were created during the thick of early parenthood.
Being an artist who creates best from the heart, my creativity clearly reflects the season I am in. Back then, it was the overwhelming whirlwind of parenthood.
Now that my children have grown, so have the quiet in my days. And in that quiet, I have reconnected with an old friend — my untamed, art-loving self.
I create not just as a mother now, but as a poet, an artist, and an adventurer — just like I once did, only now with deeper stories to tell.
Despite my ever-evolving creative style, the core and purpose of my heARTworks remain the same – to spread love.

Publications
I am currently pursuing an MA in Contemporary Creative Writing at Northeastern University London, with an aim of publishing a collection of relatable poetry and prose.
I have previously self-published chapbooks of poetry and art on motherhood and self-care, and also had my poems published in anthologies in Malaysia, the UK, and the USA.

A Bit More About Me
If you come on a little trip down memory lane with my art-loving soul, you will find that my creative journey is as eclectic as it is adventurous.
I was once a PhotoPoet (a term randomly created when I combined my photography and poetry works), a portrait photographer, an art teacher, a storyteller to a group of excited toddlers, an avid YouTuber, an aspiring filmmaker, an experimental spoken word poet, and a devoted junk-journaler, among other things. As a true creative adventurer, I am always experimenting with something new.
Powered by iced latte, cute views at cafes and endorphins from fun workouts (just some of my favourite things), there is always something fresh I’d create. Rest assured you will never get bored in my world. :)
